Kristin Rink Ketler
I help leaders cut through the noise, claim their voice, and move forward with clarity — even when the stakes are high and the path is unclear.
Built on two decades of work with leaders who can’t afford to guess.
Kristin is a leadership coach, consultant, and the author and narrator of Controlling the Pause: Reusable Tools for Leaders in Big Transition. She participated in her first communication and leadership course at age ten — a detail that still drives how she works. She founded Votta Coaching & Consulting in 2018 to partner with executives, entrepreneurs, and organizations that care about both results and people.
Her work is anchored in The Votta Exercise™ and Adjust Your View® — two practical frameworks she created and refined with clients ranging from nonprofits and start-ups to executives at Fortune 10 companies. The name votta comes from the Icelandic word meaning to testify, to certify, to bear witness. That posture — bearing witness without judgment — runs through every engagement.
Clients describe Kristin as “a breath of fresh air in an overcrowded coaching space” — someone who sees clearly, listens deeply, and helps unlock breakthroughs that ripple into both professional and personal life. Whether one-on-one, in a workshop, or facilitating a board retreat, the work is the same: help leaders see what matters, and lead with it.
Three statements that frame the work.
A leadership development and management consulting practice based in Tampa, Florida — serving clients nationwide.
Executive coaching, customized consulting, training, and workshops designed for what your business actually needs.
Two decades of experience with proven frameworks to deliver personal and professional results you can stand behind.
Built in the boardroom — and at the kitchen table.
For more than 15 years, Kristin has been an active leader, volunteer, speaker, fundraiser, and connector throughout the Tampa Bay community. She has served on nonprofit boards as both a President and Director, supported fundraising efforts for numerous local organizations, held leadership roles within business and professional associations, hosted TEDx events, and contributed her time to initiatives focused on leadership development, education, entrepreneurship, and community impact. A current member, former President, and youngest Hall of Fame inductee of CABA (Carrollwood Area Business Association), Kristin is also the current President of BNI South Tampa Chapter Network Partners and served as a Director Consultant over 12 years ago. Her commitment to developing leaders has also led to speaking and educational opportunities, including being invited to co-lead a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) program for the Hillsborough County Bar Association on hiring, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
At home, she is grounded by her husband, Jamey, her two children, Annabella and Dylan, and the family pets: three Rottweilers who believe they’re lapdogs and one black cat who rules the house.
Strong leaders are built in both places. The work reflects that.
What clients say about working with Kristin.
Kristin’s innate ability to guide me through the obstacles of professional growth, challenges, and successes is second to none. The lessons help with my professional life and my personal life.

A quick note for longtime friends and clients: You may recognize Kristin from her earlier work as Kristin Rink Votta, the name under which she published Controlling the Pause. While her business has evolved over the years, including a brief period operating under The Votta Group, she has led Votta Coaching & Consulting for more than eight years. Following her remarriage, she now works as Kristin Rink Ketler. While the names have changed, her commitment to helping leaders gain clarity, navigate transition, and move forward with confidence remains the same.
